Instructional Design | Mark Watkins

With 13 years of working experience in the eLearning field, and about the same amount as an in-classroom teacher, I offer all facets of Instructional Design (sans the degree).

I apply multimedia design and development services to custom projects with Adobe Captivate as the main tool.

I’m a high-performing, often one-person, department with the ability to:

  • plan suites of content
  • interview subject matter experts
  • write scripts
  • construct storyboards
  • graphic design prototypes
  • produce mockups and templates
  • develop assessments and design feedback to deliver on SCORM-compliant expectations
  • build the actual darn things from soup to nuts
  • manage the LMS they go on

Appreciator of the ADDIE model and interested in the Andragogy method.

Am very, very happy to collaborate with equally-driven creatives, too.

Dream jobs would involve developing narrative storylines with characters and deep dives into game-based solutions, designing problem-solving quests.

As an Instructor at Parsons School of Design, San Diego Art Institute, and other schools for more than ten years, developed many syllabi, class activities, tests and collateral course materials.

Adobe everything, Office everything, Google everything, Screenflow, Camtasia, etc.
